Jensen PLUS was part of a team engaged to prepare a concept design for a new recreation precinct on a greenfield site in Mount Barker. The space will become a new regional level active sports precinct accommodating AFL, cricket, netball, tennis and soccer, as well as club rooms to accommodate the needs of the sporting community into the future.
Jensen PLUS provided masterplanning input concerning site planning, managing the sloping site, visual analysis, sporting field arrangements and landscape character, as well as planting, infrastructure and other public realm considerations. We also managed a collaborative stakeholder consultation process with local clubs and regional sporting organisations.
The project is significant to the Mount Barker region which is growing rapidly as an Adelaide Hills residential destination, requiring major new infrastructure such as the Regional Sporting Precinct.
