Cost Effective Innovation in Footpaths

The Heart Foundation have commissioned Jensen PLUS and Tonkin Consulting to conduct a research project on cost effective innovation in footpath construction and provision. We are seeking to engage with industry, policy and research expert’s in this area to gain insights and contribute to the outcome of this project.

We are seeking the attendance of relevant industry, policy, and research experts at a half-day workshop to be held in 2018 in Adelaide, South Australia.  This workshop will provide the attendees the opportunity to network, share and inspire new ideas, meet and mingle with innovative companies and professionals, and engage in thought provoking innovation discussions. The outcome of this workshop will contribute to a resource base that will guide the Heart Foundation in their nation-wide advocacy for healthier built environments.

We are also seeking input of knowledge and resources from relevant experts in order to inform an initial literature review component of the project, namely around the following:

  • Which researchers or companies are trialling new technologies?
  • Can changes in design standards help lower costs?
  • What examples can be found in Australian cities and regions, or around the world?
  • Do you know of any articles, reports, case studies or news stories relevant to this topic?

If you or someone you know would be interested in attending the workshop, or contributing knowledge and resources, we invite you to contact Nick Wilson from Jensen PLUS on (08) 8338 5511 or nw@jensenplus.com.au

We hope to hear from you soon and thank you for your consideration.
