Jensen PLUS were engaged by the Alexandrina Council to prepare a master plan for streetscape improvements, and a framework to guide new projects, on and adjacent to Cadell Street, the main street of Goolwa.

The Cadell Street Streetscape Improvement Project:

• reviewed and analysed the existing character of Cadell Street
• investigated design options for Cadell Street to provide a safe and efficient traffic environment

• identified easily implementable projects
• developed an overall vision for Cadell Street to guide future development based on consultation with the community, stakeholders and Council.

A major element of the vision - upgrading the Cadell Street and Goolwa Terrace intersection, and nearby BF Laurie Lane - was successfully delivered by Council in 2016, for which they received a Mainstreet SA Award.
