Matthew Edwards

Urban Designer

Matthew is an urban designer who recently joined Jensen PLUS from the City of Adelaide, where he gained extensive experience across city shaping projects ranging from high level strategic design to detailed concept design and documentation.

With formal qualifications in both architecture and urban design, Matthew is driven by his love of cities and the opportunities to improve them through exceptional design. He has a broad skillset encompassing concept design, master planning, 3D modelling, CAD and graphic representation.

Matthew enjoys exploring new cities and towns, ideally with a caffeinated beverage in one hand, and looking for ways to apply this new knowledge to future projects.

Michael McKeown

Director

Michael is the Director of Jensen PLUS. He is a leading urban designer and planner, with wide experience across the development industry and public sector.

Michael regularly leads teams to prepare master plans and designs for new communities, town centres, employment precincts, major infrastructure projects, residential neighbourhoods, urban renewal areas, and main streets. Michael is an experienced designer, planner and facilitator, and has excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills.

Under Michael’s leadership since 2015 Jensen PLUS has grown to lead major projects across Australia. His team are valued for providing independent advice to clients, including many in regional communities.

In late 2019 Michael was awarded Planner of the Year, South Australia by the Planning Institute of Australia.

Vicki White

Office Manager

Vicki is the Office Manager of Jensen PLUS and is responsible for accounts, payroll, contract administration and IT.

Vicki’s background has been in legal, medical, serviced office and strata fields before joining the business 21 years ago as a Receptionist. Her strong knowledge of accounting systems and her wide range of administrative skills meant she quickly broadened her role into Office Manager.

Vicki is the day to day contact for account queries and ensures that our office runs efficiently and smoothly.

Lisel McLeay

Associate

Lisel is a Landscape Architect + Urban Designer and an Associate at Jensen PLUS. She has been a valued member of the team for ten years and has over 13 years’ experience working in the industry on a variety of high profile, award-winning projects throughout Australia.

As Associate, Lisel manages and is deeply involved in all phases of the design process internally to Jensen PLUS, as well as project managing large, multi-disciplinary design teams on complex projects.

Lisel has a high level of understanding for the allied disciplines required to deliver public realm projects with exceptional client and community satisfaction.

Chloe Organ

Registered Landscape Architect

Chloe is a Registered Landscape Architect who has been recognised as AILA SA’s Future Leader 2020. She began her career at Jensen PLUS in 2017 and has since worked on a vast range of projects for interstate, regional and local clients. Chloe brings to Jensen PLUS her passion for best outcomes for both the community and environment with a strong focus on the importance of the profession to achieve this.

Chloe’s enthusiasm and dedication to landscape architecture allows for her continual positive impact within the profession. She has been involved in many projects from a strategic level through to concept and detailed documentation creating a strong understanding of project evolution. Her skill set includes project management, freehand drawing, CAD, graphic representation and report generation.

Chloe enjoys developing her plant knowledge and exploring new landscapes and techniques to influence her design concepts.

Daniel Bennett

Consultant Landscape Architect

Daniel is an experienced strategic designer, registered landscape architect and urban designer with 20 years’ experience. Initially from Sydney, he relocated to Edinburgh before returning to Australia and since 2004 has worked on a wide range of projects in his adopted home of Adelaide in public and private practice.

His work is multi-award winning, and he has led and delivered a range of small to very large city-shaping projects, often in large and complex teams. His recent role as leader of Strategy and Design at the City of Adelaide re-established a strong civic and strategic design team for the City, shaping, designing and delivering strategies and projects, including the Adelaide Design Manual, the city’s new blueprint for streets and public spaces from ideas and initiatives through to construction.

He led, reformed and reshaped the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) in AILA’s 50th year as Director (2013-2017), Chair and President (2016-2017), and is the current State President of AILA’s South Australian chapter and national Chair of AILA’s Advocacy Committee.
