Following a competitive tender process, Jensen PLUS was appointed by the City of Tea Tree Gully to provide ongoing urban design advisory services on a range of projects.
The City of Tea Tree Gully covers 95km2 and has approximately 100,000 residents in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs.
Our services have included advice to Council on expansion of a major regional activity centre, infill and renewal development opportunities and design of the City’s premier public park. We have advised Council on applications received for commercial and residential developments.
We provide a regular pre-lodgement service for developers to improve design outcomes and speed up the assessment of development applications.
We have also planned and delivered training for Council officers, including building design, drawing and urban design skills for Development Assessment planners.
A large part of our work consists of Michael McKeown, the Director of Jensen PLUS, attending Council’s offices and working in close collaboration with Council planners and other officers.
