Jensen PLUS formed part of a team led by MPH Architects to gain approval for the complete redevelopment of site on the corner of South Road and Wheatsheaf Road at Morphett Vale. The development establishes the southern zone hub for Health Partners, providing a full range of optical and auditory services for the community as well as offices servicing the southern region of Adelaide.
The building is a contemporary design that successfully addresses the corner through glazed facades, along with a metal skin that wraps the corner, complimented by improved landscaping.
A challenge to the application was ensuring adequate parking provision and Jensen PLUS aided in successfully gaining Council support for the use and upgrade of unused verge parking in this location in support of the development, including permit requirements associated with this use.
