As a long-time supporter of Mainstreet SA, Jensen PLUS is proud to again be sponsoring the Mainstreet SA State Conference, on 17 and 18 September 2024.

“It’s great to see two of Adelaide’s main street-focused councils hosting the conference this year,” says Michael McKeown.

“The Cities of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters, and Unley are home to great main streets like The Parade, King William Road, Unley Road and Goodwood Road.

“These streets are also frequently at the edge of main street design and place management.”

The program offers an array of sessions and speakers covering everything from innovative planning, design and placemaking principles to effective governance, partnerships and marketing strategies, delivered by local, national and international speakers.

A highlight of the two-day conference is the international guest speaker Bjorn Bergman.

“One of our key values at Jensen PLUS is collaboration — it’s the key to successful projects and outcomes.

“So, I am looking forward to hearing from Bjorn about successful collaboration between private and public stakeholders to develop mainstreets, town centres and city centres, and the tools and models that have seen great success in Sweden.”

The Mainstreet SA Conference will be held over two days:
Tuesday 17 September — Norwood Oval, City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters
Wednesday 18 September — Unley Oval, City of Unley
